One fall in the late sixties, the JanSport team heard that students were using the brand’s small cross country daypacks to cross campus instead. It made sense with comfortable padded straps, and easy access front panel opening and catch resistant nylon zippers the bags were just as great for carrying books as they were for carrying gear. Good price it arrived on time. I bought this for my son who is in middle school and it lasted about 6 months I guess for the price I couldn’t ask for more. It has been very hard for me to find a mesh backpack that last longer and still havent been able to so I cant say that this item exceed my expectations.

My son’s high school requires mesh or clear bags so I bought a cheaper one they had available at school registration and it lasted less than 2 weeks. This one has lasted over a month and shows no sign of wear. He carries a lot of books in it at one time and it is still holding up. Great bag!

Our locals schools require that backpacks need to be either mesh or clear. After looking at several backpacks, I decided on this one. It is easy to see everything in it and it is plenty large enough to hold all of my son’s books (three very large textbooks, two binders and several smaller books)!JanSport Antics Series Mesh Pack

Mesh backpacks do not last very long. My son is required to use one, and I usually buy 4 or 5 per year because they rip very easily. This JanSport seems more rugged. I am hoping it will last the year. None of the other brands have.
